Recently Adopted Rough Collie Puppies Near Hennepin County
23 month old tri color rough collie
We have had "Jerry" since he was 8 wks old. He was house broken immediately, smart, funny, he has been my son's companion pet and amazing with him. His father is a pure bred merle and mother is pure bred tri color. I am moving into a smaller place and he needs to run, he would be a great dog for a farm doing the herding he was meant to do. He has been an indoor dog and spoiled sleeping on the couch and given lots of love. He just needs space to run, even a dog park, but needs some training as he still thinks he's a puppy and will jump up on people. Not aggressive, I keep him on the gentle leader to avoid pulling and jumping on others. If he gets off the leash he will take off.Amazingly, my 11 he old son can catch him. He's really a gentle big dog. My son can lay on him and he does nothing. He is intact but would need to be bred with a pure bred tri color female without any blue in her genetics or a blue Merle could be born deaf and blind. High potential for Blue Merle puppies if bred with pure bred tri color female. He is smart, funny, and vocal. We love him, he just needs room to run and I don't have space for him in the near future. I feel bad now being in an apartment and most of his outdoor the is on a leash. I would prefer him to go to a family that has time and space for him. No breeders please, yet as I said he could stud a litter or so. Kind, serious inquiries only. Thank you!View Detail
