Registered White Oriental Longhair very RARE!
This kitten is a rare Traditional White Balinese/OLH. He was born December 20th, 2014. His mother is a very rare pure white Siamese imported from the original motherland of the Siamese cat (now known as Thailand). She is odd-eyed and one eye is marbled (two different colors), which is incredibly rare. These cats are affectionately called "Khao Manee" in Thai and this is translated to white gem/diamond in English. These white odd-eyed Siamese were so prized and coveted that at one time only the Royals were even allowed to own or breed them up to about 100 years ago. Foreigners were not permitted to even touch them, much less export one out of the country! These cats are auspicious as they are said to bring their owners great luck and good fortune. They are exactly the same as your pointed Siamese cats as they come from the same race and bloodlines. The main difference is color. After living in Thailand for eight years and learning so much about these rare cats, we decided to move back with our best and prized cats including two rare and very well bred Khao Manee queens. Then we decided that the best thing Westerns had ever done for Thai/Siamese cats was to breed the Siamese cat selectively for long hair as this created the breed known as 'Longhair Siamese' or 'Balinese'. We wanted to keep the bloodline pure Thai, but with long hair and preferably white. Our breeding program for this designer cat has been a HUGE success and Thaishan is part of that! Our white Balinese/Longhair Siamese are the SOFTEST cats you will ever lay your hands on! They get this from their Khao Manee mothers as well as their Balinese father. These cats are as hypoallergenic as you can possibly find and we've tested this with our other white Balinese. They are also low-maintenance, no hairballs, no daily brushing, no bathing required and very low shedding. As for their personality and disposition, they are purring machines and they crave attention! They are also slow to mature, so they stay as kittens for up to two years with a life expectancy of 20+ years! Thaishan is very unique because he was the only kitten from his litter and he's been very spoiled. He's fed a very high quality diet with Fancy Feast by the can everyday.
