I have a6 year old severe macaw I got him about 3 years ago from a lady who breeds birds in Taylor mi. She told me he was 3 years old at the time. Talks laughs Dances friendly and loves to cuddle. At 1st he might be little scared but once he’s comfortable he’s supper friendly. Always take him out go on walks never tries to fly away. I DO NOT CLIP HIS WINGS. My children (3 and 1) hand feed her and she will gently take a nut or seed from between my lips if i offer it.She says a few words and understands some commands.She is 2 years old She comes with her cage with toys, perches and bowls. Her uv light and stand, harness to take her outdoors, a small travel cage, her perch for outside the cage and a lot of food, treats, nuts etc (She has tidymix diet and pellet food).I will not sell her without her cage, that's what she knows and is her home.
