Labradoodle Mini
*8 month old Mini Labradoodle - name Louie
* 18 pounds and probably full grown
* 4 week Professional training at Kelly's K-9 Training out of Mico, TX. Close to far west SA - she can do a full follow up for 10 days at $500.
* Have all paperwork and certificates for completing these courses.
* He is AKC and other registered Dog - breeder was Texan Doodles out of Castroville, TX - https://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/contact/
* Have all paperwork and information from them.
* Microchipped
Has gotten all vaccines needed up to 1 year
* Not neutered yet
* Fully in door dog
* Fully Kennel trained - he goes in at 11AM and gets out at 8 PM almost on the dot with no fuss at all for over 3 months
he is not hyper at all - calm natured, but will get puppy energy once a day if you don't walk or throw a ball to him
* Training levels - excellent level - Place, wait, leave it, sit, down, shake, kennel trained, won't take food from adults or kids hands, will not bite even when provoked during eating or tail pulled by children.
Intermediate - Roll over, play dead and heal
Getting groomed tomorrow. we groom him every 6 weeks or so
He is potty trained, but due or our busy schedules, he has had 1 or 2 accidents over the last few weeks. I would say he's 90% potty trained. He poops and pee's in the same place in the back year every time, and we walk him to that spot via leash.
My two daughters 12 and 8 take him most the time.
Discipline has been scruff grab and the phrase and command, Uh AHH. We say no also, but mostly the other. He knows both as not to.
Although he's a sweet dog, this is the second dog we've had. My oldest daughter and I do most if not all the training follow up and potty training. He gets a cup and a half of food around 11:30 to noon every day. he gets some treats during training, but he has to work for them more now. He eats a chicken and pork hide bone every morning after he goes potty. He gets a clicked hide bubble stick and dental stick when he goes into his kennel every night.
Things have changed due to Covid where we have two parents working full time, and 3 kids now in full time school plus dance, piano, and church activities. We seems to have to leave him on place, Kennel, and right if front of us all the time in order to keep him from getting undisciplined. He gets less affection than he needs. He wants to snuggle all the time, and I am not naturally a dog person, he is more for the kids. They seem to not have the time to spend with him as they had promised. He will whine when not getting attention at times, accept at night - he is perfect then.
