Old-Time Farm Collies
We have a litter of Old-Time Farm Collies that were born on November 26.
Puppies will not be ready for new homes until the end of January 2023, but if you request to be placed on our mailing list, we will keep you updated on their growth and can schedule playdates before they are ready to go.
ABOUT FARM COLLIES:
This landrace breed goes back to the older genetics of the collie and is bred for both work and family life. They are extremely smart, easy to train, loyal to their family, and make excellent farm & family dogs that will help work stock one minute and snuggle up with you the next. They herd, guard, hunt, and also love children. We value these qualities on our working beef and lamb farm in southern Minnesota and have carefully selected farm collie bloodlines that best fit our needs for work and companionship. Our farm collie goes everywhere we go on the farm, and helps move cattle/sheep and goats daily during the summer months in our rotational grazing system. The dam of this litter is from working english shepherd lines out of northwestern South Dakota and sire is a scotch collie from a ranch in Oklahoma. These puppies will make lovely homestead and farm companions and are gentle with our lambs, kids, calves, chicks, bunnies, and children.
We appreciate that they are athletic & highly intelligent/intuitive dogs but also much calmer than a Border Collie or Aussie.
Our rehoming fee is $500. These puppies will leave fully vaccinated, dewormed, and with a small bag of puppy food to give them a great start in their new homes. They are loved daily (we have 5 children), socialized to a variety of situations and people (we do nursing home visits), and exposed to a wide variety of livestock found here on our farm. We also start leash training the last few weeks they live with us.

COLLIDOR Puppies! Collie/ Labrador
We are a loving family who has raised Rough Collies, and Choc. Hunting labs for over 15 years.
This September we had an accident when we had visators to our home. Our female purebred Collie was accidentally let out of our house and our male Lab mated with her.
It happened so quickly, they only mated 1 time we ended up with 11 puppies.
I was planning on putting her with my male collie the day this happened instead, we decided not to hoping that perhaps she wouldnt take.
But... here we are 2 months later.
So Because life is precious I could not bear to abort the puppies instead, we decided to raise them, find great homes for them.
Each puppy will go to his/ her new home with a puppy care packet filled with food, toys, treats.
They will go through 3 dewormings while in our care.
They will have their 1st set up puppy shots completed.
Family raised on our farm with our 6 children.
Will be used to indoors, and outside, with extensive work on housetraining and basic puppy manners.
We expect them to be medium size with some coats about the length of a Golden retriever, we will also have some that are smooth like a lab.
Puppies are the colors of black with some white markings, and merles.

Both the Collie and Labrador are loving, faithful companions, they are smart and would be a great addition to any person wanting a companion. I Expect the puppies will retain abilities from both parents, I expect the puppies could be hunting companions, and also be great on a homestead.

We are located in Northern Mn.
We will not ship any of our puppies, but may be able to meet families coming a distance.
