I have bred many Champions and performance titled dogs as well as many Therapy certified dogs. The AKC is the oldest legitimate dog registry in the USA, established in the 1800's. The AKC has become the best advocate for the purebred dog and the proper breeding breeding practices that should be followed to ensure the health, temperament and beauty of each breed. Each breed has a parent club that belongs to the AKC. The parent club gives the guidelines for their breed. It decides the standard to which the dogs should be bred and also the temperament of the dogs in the breed and also the health concerns within the breed and how they should be dealt with by the breeders.View Detail
