Albino Tegu -Beautiful 10mths old
This beautiful Tegu lizard is Albino, having light coloring and somehwat poor eyesight as a result. Tegu is intelligent and learns to navigate new spaces easily. It loves warm bathing and basking spots.
Play:
Unlike most, Tegu climbs and explores high and low spaces. This Tegu loves cozy blankets and has a mini cozy dog house to sleep in over a heating pad. The sunroom has been a free place to explore all summer. This lizard does not like to be held but will sit on your lap especially in a blanket to warm up a bit before exploring. We taught this lizard not to climb up people as it got bigger.
Bathroom:
Tegu was taught to use the piddle-pads for bathroom and mostly does.
Food:
We can bring food in without any agression. If you're in the room and Tegu is free to roam when you bring the food, Tegu may chase people away from its food. Tegu eats a variety of chopped vegetables, sausages, sardines, salmon and egg.
