Listing Description
Meet Honey and Blossom! If you are interested in learning more or would like to meet them; please contact me at anytime! Price is negotiable! They are curious and love to explore. These two thrive on consistency and especially require familiar smells. They have been recognized by their veterinarians as super friendly and are easy going in nature! They both possess opposite personalities, one being the adventurer and energetic force (Honey) and the other (Blossom) being a gentler, calm and cuddly personality. These girls love to explore small and hidden spaces and when treated with care will reward you with their excitement every time they see you! If you are a night owl who enjoys a few hours of quality time with small free spirited pets these girls are for you. We are sad to see them leave our home. Our schedules no longer provide Honey and Blossom the quality attention they deserve. Though Sugar Gliders are relatively independent creators, they require affection and quality time which we have not been able to provide them in recent months. They're the sweetest pets. Only available together, they are co-dependent with one another as they are from the same family and require genuine affection from their owners. If you are considering adopting sugar gliders and have never owned any in the past, it is important to research their requirements and restrictions as they are exotic animals. Some things you should know prior to inquiring are: that these pets require lots of contact and patience in allowing for them to warm up to you. If you are someone who expects to win the affections of your pets early on then this is not a good fit for you. As I stated previously, Honey and Blossom are free spirited. These animals are free spirited in nature and will warm up to you in their own time. Creating spaces in which they are able to move about freely and allowing them to approach you when desired is the best way to develop trust with them. If you are an impatient person than they are NOT for you. These animals are very smart and will find any small crevices they can squeeze through. They are playful and love to make messes. When they're uncomfortable, or scared they may make a sound called "crabbing" which sounds kinda like an "angry locust". When they do this they essentially feel threatened, upset, or they're tired. You'll just want to leave them alone. They typically only do this with strangers or when they're still getting to know you. It can sometimes be easy to overstep their boundaries in the beginning, especially because they're such little creatures but you'll learn. They hate loud noises and aggression. If you are prone to these behaviors this will NOT be a good fit. They also make a sound called a "bark" which may indicate they are bored, annoyed, excited, or to get your attention. For example, Honey and Blossom have barked in the past when they got stuck and needed help. There are a few other sounds they make but are less alarming and communicate that they are happy. You can learn more about these behaviors at https://***/b65fh67r . Feel free to also reach out to us with any questions you may have. We are seeking to find a loving home for these darlings - where they will thrive and continue to bring joy to those who care for them. Please contact us at anytime if you are interested in adopting Honey and Blossom. Thank you! :)
