Springfield, OR Nala is a 1.5 y/o intact female purebred German Shorthair Pointer. She is very loving towards people, very food motivated, and e-collar trained. She can be dominant with other dogs but plays well with submissive dogs. She is extremely high energy, very athletic, very trainable, and would make an incredible running or hunting dog. She is very true to her breed and needs to go to someone who understands her breed and has a very active lifestyle. She has been having increasing amounts of separation anxiety— she only does well in the crate with her e-collar and while people are in sight. I believe this is a solvable issue with trust, boundaries, and bonding. She truly has so much potential: She aims to please, is so loving, and just needs someone to commit to her. She’s very snuggly and affectionate. She was left with my parents who don’t have the time to work with her, they’ve simply been providing her a home.
