Rehoming Two Shiba Inu Unfortunately, we no longer can take care of our two Shiba Inu and are looking to rehome them. We will not be charging a fee to rehome them but would like them to be rehomed together and have some criteria around the new home. For those who know, Shibas are amazing dogs. affectionate with family, good with kids, highly intelligent, super clean and extremely energetic. This also comes with a flip side of the coin. They do need constant mental stimulation & exercise. They are very protective of family, food and their things and are not as receptive to strange dogs. Finally, Shibas are escape artists and will need extra care when outside or around the home. Because of this we will be taking the vetting process very seriously as we want both Kaiya and Sesh to go to a home that understands the amount of daily work goes into owning a Shiba. We promise though that the work will pay off. Our criteria are as follows: • Over 30 • Families or Couples will take priority • Must have a yard • Ideally own vs rent • History of dog ownership • Must rehome both dogs together A little about Sesh. He is the personality out of the two. He will always make you laugh with his antics. Very food focused, loves to be around his owners and can be protective of them. He can interact well with other dogs he knows but is extremely weary of dogs he doesn’t. He also can be very protective while on the leash. That being said when he is off-leash at the beach he is the most friendly dog. Loves to jump in the water and play with his sister. He is also a huge cuddler when he is tired and really loves the affection of the humans he lives amongst. Kaiya is the sweetest little girl. She follows Sesh’s lead and looks up to him. She loves to be pet and will tap you on the arm over and over to ask to be pet more. Her happy place is outside - all day. She will sit in the yard from sunrise to sunset just observing and will only come inside to drink a little water and then return outside. She is protective of her yard and will bark at people walking by, mowing the lawn next door or at the local cat. Otherwise, she is extremely calm. Her happy place is also the beach, and she enjoys getting her feet wet, following Sesh into the water. She is very good with other dogs and loves to play but can get a little over excited with some dogs and might play bite them in the backside. If you do fit the above criteria, we would love to hear from you and introduce you to Sesh & Kaiya Cheers, Oriana & Kyle
