These babies are not your standard pet store rats. They are selectivity bread for health and temperment. I am devising an early development sensory stimulation program (like the superdog program) that I use to help all my rats feel more confident, and have a better ability to handle stress. I am located in the NW suburbs of Chicago. I have limited litters to make sure all the babies have the attention they need so the waiting list may get long. The best time to join is near the end of the month to hopefully get in on the next month's litter. The litter picture will be posted at 2 weeks old to show the color range but you will not be able to pick your specific rat until 6 weeks old to ensure they are happy healthy and well adjusted. My rats go through a rigorous 50 point temperment rating system. Only rats with a score of above 40 will be placed in pet homes, I hold back all others. If you dont get a rat from the litter you applied for you will be top of the list on the next litter.
