Roxie is a2 year old female, unspayed, and microchipped. We are turning 65 and care for our disabled son has taken a drastic turn that requires us to rehome our beloved pets.
Roxie needs a patient, gentle, loving home. Although we've had her since 10 weeks old, she is extremely timid and sensitive, behaving like a rescue in some ways. She's wary and cautious around all people, even her loved ones. A person I trust who intuits animal needs, said Roxie would probably enjoy formal training and structure, which would help her mature and feel more sure of herself.
She's an outdoor dog, raised with 2 older dogs and one other dog her age and gets along well with them. She is healthy, active, and up to date on all shots. We will provide a bag of the Purina Lamb & Rice dog food she's been raised on to help ease her to another brand if that is the plan, to avoid digestive upset. We will also provide a bag of her favorite treats for comfort during transition.
