Hello. I’ve have my turtles since 2008. I am 18 years old and like any other clueless family my parents bought use red eared slider turtles for their kids as pets. We used to have three but one died while I was in college. I don’t remember why. I just feel really sad whenever I see them and the fact that they have to live in such conditions. I convinced my dad to sell them rather than they continue living in hardship in a small tank. He wanted to release them in a river somewhere in New Jersey but I know they won’t survive as they are domesticated and this is the only home they have known and they wouldn’t know how to survive in the wild. I’m looking for people willing to give these turtles a good life and provide them with a good shelter. There are TWO red eared slider turtle. I’m unsure of their ages. Please ask me any question or come to me with any comments if you are interested in taking them.
I’ve had my red-eared slider turtles since 2008. Due to my current circumstances, I believe they deserve a better living environment than what I can provide. I want to ensure they live a healthy and happy life.
