Listing Description
(quality of pictures got distorted while up loading) They are both a little over 1 year old and are bonded mates so they must be adopted together into a loving patient home. They are acclimated to being around both cats and dogs but I would not recommend adopting if you have small children They were both hand raised and are used to both male and females . They have had there wings trimmed in the past but not for a while so they are flighted. Both are in very good health and are used to a balanced diet mainly based with nutritional pellets that are vet recommended. ****You can always reach out to us for more information at my email: *** or ******* All of the supplies are included in the adoption fee (Cage and smaller transport cage food treats toys)
Blue (male) He is definitely the shy one but does loves head scratches once he gets used to you He likes to sit on my collar bone and just chill sometimes if I'm wearing a cozy hoodie he also likes to hide in hair and play with shiny objects. He has a more subdued in personality but is very much in love with his mate and will preen her feathers and share food with her its adorable. (When we first got him he was depressed and kept plucking out his feathers to the point were he had lost most of his tail feathers and de flighted himself because of that he was clumsy and sometimes had bruised or blood feathers since we got him a mate he has brightened up stopped plucking and his tail feathers are fully back just a bit on the shorter side) he also loves bird baths and likes to play in water.
Green (female) She has the stronger personality and loves to be sassy (literally laughs at me if I fall) she loves loves loves to dance put on a good bop and she will be a very happy bird and she will scream sing along she also really like dried chilies as treats she does nibble on people it isn't a bite she really is just checking you out but she is more particular about who she likes. You need to be more confidant with handling her because if not shell get scared and back her self into a corner and hiss to let you know she is not having it. She is very curious loves to explore and check new things out and has a weird fascination with fuzzy house slippers. She does know the command "step up". She loves walking around on the floor and tearing up little handmade cardboard/ paper toys.
We are willing to travel to drop off and meet half way depending on where you live but ***will not ship*** (Adoption is finale)
Why we have to rehome: My mom got them as babies but has recently been having a stressful overwhelming time and wants better for them They will be greatly greatly missed and we would just want someone to give them the home they deserve they would be great beginner birds because they require a slightly less human interaction and have easier maintenance requirements.
