Listing Description
My husband got on a kick with Quaker Parrots and decided that he was going to buy 2 of them. They are brothers and from the same mother, hatched at the same time. We got them when they were a few weeks old which was in April (2023). Unfortunately, it is WAY more than either of us can handle... They require too much attention and hands on care.
We are looking to re-home them along with all of items that we've gotten for them, including the food we have left. The $500 is for the birds and all the items in the pictures... Their cage, the wooden play gym, all the toys, seeds/food, travel carrier, etc.
They aren't mean. They will accept food from hand most the time, but they just aren't handled or trained enough because we don't have the time (and my husband and I have different training approaches, his is more.... "Free and cautious").

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What are Quaker Parrots?
Quaker Parrots, also known as Monk Parakeets, are small, highly social birds known for their playful and affectionate behavior. They are intelligent and can learn to mimic sounds and words.
Why are you rehoming the Quaker Parrots?
We are rehoming the Quaker Parrots because they require more attention and hands-on care than we can provide. My husband and I have different training approaches, which has made it challenging to give them the care they need.
What is included in the rehoming fee?
The rehoming fee of $500 includes both Quaker Parrots and all their supplies, such as their cage, wooden play gym, toys, remaining seeds/food, and a travel carrier.
Are the Quaker Parrots friendly?
Yes, the Quaker Parrots are not mean. They will often accept food from your hand, but they would benefit from more handling and training, which we are unable to provide at this time.
Where are the Quaker Parrots located?
The Quaker Parrots are located in Cape Coral, Lee County, Florida, United States.
What is the age of the Quaker Parrots?
The Quaker Parrots are brothers and were hatched in April 2023, making them a few months old at this time.
