"Hey everyone my name is Sugar. Yes, I am just as sweet as my name suggests. I love to have you rub my belly and I love to give puppy kisses as a reward. After I get up in the morning I have to go potty but then it's time to run and play. I have to burn off the energy so I play and explore. After that I am ready to get up in your lap and take a nap. I love to cuddle, it's definitely one of my favorite things to do. My mom says that I like to be the center of attention. Of course I do, I am the cutest of the group. What does she expect after all? I'm looking for my new fur-ever home. I am the perfect best friend. Come on, who can say no to this face. You know you want to. Come on, go ahead and get it over with. I just can't wait to get to my new home so I can give you puppy kisses. I'm waiting!" Jasmine is a young (about 2 years old), spayed, 13 lb. Westie mix - and she's looking for a home with a single person or couple who wants a cute dog for both snuggle time and quiet outdoor adventures. Jasmine should be in a home with NO children under 12 and NO cats. She is fully housebroken - never an accident in the house. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on shots. Jasmine has had a little training to build her confidence and socialization, but she will need a very patient and loving home which will allow her all the time she needs to settle in and blossom. She is initially very shy and slow to trust new people, but will bond with her new person (or couple) and be very affectionate and easy-going in the home. She would like to be the only pet but could live with another small and mellow dog, one who could potentially improve her confidence and skills with other dogs. She loves belly rubs and to sit in your lap, but also loves to frolic in the grass and go on hikes in quiet spots. Jasmine can get nervous when she sees other dogs and will bark, but has shown some improvement already with careful introductions to other dogs.
