Beautiful Blue and Gold Macaw, he is about 3 years old. Huge cage included that is 42Wx30Dx78H. He does say quite a few words, such as hello. hi. ouch, how are you and a few more but he is still learning of course. We have found that we just don't have enough time to work with him and train him as we thought. He was purchased from a pet store in Royal Oak last February for $1800 including cage. He can be pet just like a dog but he does tend to have a mean streak, but it's noticeable when he does not want to be handled. Again, he just needs some more training and handling time. He loves to be a part of the family and begs when we're eating. Which we give him lots of people food and he loves it! And he is very gentle when he takes it from your hand. We want him to go to a good home, possibly a quieter home then what we have.
