My son wanted a squirrel dog and I got him one. The puppy was 5 months old when I got him he is now 9 months old. He is a very good dog. The man I got him from had taken him hunting several times with his dogs and said he was showing really good potential to be a great squirrel dog. When I got him me nor my son knew much about training a squirrel dog but thought we would try. My son had worked with him several times with a live and dead squirrel and he has jumped and barked and chased it but we have not taken him in the woods. My son is 12 and has not lost interest and I want him to go to a good home and get the attention he needs instead of staying in the pin all the time. Please let me know if you have any questions.
