Listing Description
A few months ago, we found two beautiful dogs living homeless on a Navajo reservation. We brought them home, cleaned them up, and got them some veterinary care with the intention of then finding their forever homes. Wouldn’t you know it though, one of them was carrying seven puppies, so we decided to hold off on adopting out either of the dogs. We had found good homes for all the puppies but a couple of people backed out at the last minute. As much as we would love to keep the remaining pups and both parents, we have 8 dogs now and it’s not fair to them that we can’t give them each the individual attention they need.
Both puppies are short haired, female, and will likely grow to about 30-35 pounds according to the vet. They’ve had all their shots but haven’t been fixed yet. We are also looking for a permanent home for the assumed sire, who is about 35 pounds, has short coppery-brown hair, and the sweetest, mellowest temperament ever. We did get him fixed shortly after bringing him home.
We would like to recoup some of the costs of caring for brand new puppies responsibly, but the most important thing to us by far is they they go to good homes. We will miss them.
