This is a pointer mix. She answers to Lucy and we believe she is 3 years old. She was found wandering a Walmart parking lot in Omaha, NE. We tried to find her owner and never got a call back. She has all of her shots, heartworm is clear, and has been spayed. We have had her about a year. She is great with my 2 and 4 year old kids. My 4 year old should be the trial-by-fire to see if a dog can handle little kids, after getting climbed on and hit with toys the worst she had done is run to another room. If she can handle my kids, she can be gentle with anyone. I have never had to clean up after her going to the bathroom inside, even after being gone at work for 12 hour days. She has never dug in our trash or dug up the yard. She is great with our cats, and one of those cats is mean to her. She has never mouthed or snapped at anyone. She may run off after squirrels, but always came back when called. She loves to roll in the grass and be a couch potato. She always sleeps at the foot of our bed. We are trying to rehome her because our house and yard are too small for her needs. She has a lot of energy when it is time to play, and calms down quickly when it's time to stop. She was great in the long car ride from Nebraska to Louisiana. When we first found her she would flinch when hands came towards her face and we think she may have been abused, but this reaction has almost completely gone away. She will chew dog bones, but has shown no interest in other chew toys.
