The Border Pit or Border Bull as they are often referred as, combines the American Pitbull Terrier and the Border Collie, which makes it a very energetic, highly intelligent, loving, loyal, and friendly dog. We have 3 male and 3 female puppies born on April 19th. These guys will require a lot of exercise daily, 1-1.5 hours is recommended. It is recommended potential owners of the Border Pits have lots of room to run. They are a very healthy breed with most health issues illeviated in the cross. They will grow to an average height of 25" and weigh up to 50 pounds. They won't have the longer hair as the Collies do, so shedding is much less of an issue.The Pitbull Border Collie mix make excellent companions and love lots of attention. They are an awesome mix that carries the desired qualities of both the Border Collie and American Pit Bull. This mix is also known to have a long lifespan of up to 15 years if properly cared for and fed nutritionally.
