I am not positive, but was told I have one male and one female. They have never laid eggs though. They are 1.5 years old and have been to the vet and are healthy. I normally do have their wings and nails clipped at the vet as well. These lovebirds MUST stay together as they pair for life, and actually do experience heartbreak when separated. Who we think is the male, Harry, is friendly and makes a great pet. The female, Hedwig is friendly, especially if you have the time to spend with her. (I am guessing with the genders here.) I will sell them with their cage, they have many perches/toys/jungle gym for out of cage time/treats etc. The cage is app. 24''x20''. We will be very sad to see them go, but with my kids and dogs, I just don't feel like I have the time to devote to their care and socialization. I know they will be better off with another family. Please research Lovebird care.
