Maui is a Labradore mixed with Shar-Pei and a little bit of pit. He is 80+ lbs, chocolate with a little white fur under his chest. Also is current on all vaccinations and completely healthy & whole. I rescued Maui in MIami, FL and after two weeks of having him found that I had to move to Richmond. At that point I decided to put him in a board and train program for a month, to give him the stability and training he needed, while giving me time to move. After training I flew to FL to pick up Maui and drive him to Richmond. Maui is a wonderful big baby but I do not have the right home or lifestyle for his needs at this time. He needs preferably a home with a yard or an owner who has the lifestyle to keep him active and engaged. I believe Maui would make a PERFECT family dog and/or farm dog. He is very smart, energetic and sweet. Pros: Non-responsive to other animals and or people when on walks. Responds very well to consistency, positive reinforcement and training. Does not bark or cry to go outside, always waits patiently for when I decide to take him. Is learning impulse control as well. Areas of improvement: needs aa sold amount of attention, snuggles and play time. Please help me find the best home for Maui. I ask for $1000 because I have invested $3000+ into his training & well-being. The price is negotiable.
