Breeding pair 3yrs old. "Finn" The female (orange) is 15" and "Gill" The male (white/silver) is 13". I have spent a lot of time interacting with them I can pick them both up and when ever I have my hands in the water adjusting the heater or pond pump etc. they always come right over and rub against my arms. (Strangely they love being touched) they also play water soccer! I take a plastic cat toy ball and stuff it with turtle treats then drop it in the water and they will grab it and pull it around playing tug o war till its empty! So cute to watch:) I have had them for the last 3 years they have spent 2 spring and summers out in my back yard pond and 2 fall and winters indoors in a 125 gallon tank. (They have NEVER been outside in the cold) I'm only selling them because I moved this past February and no longer have a pond. They are now in the 125 gal tank year round. And this is the time Iof year I would be moving them outdoors and they seem so depressed Just waiting at the surface for me to pick them up and take them outside. So even though I love having them I want them to be back in a pond where they are most happy. Please have pond /koi fish experience and if you intend on to leave them outdoors all year than your pond needs to be at lease 4 feet deep with proper air and filtration. Or if your bringing them in over the winter. You must have at least a 100 gsllon tank with a canister filter. I will not separate or ship them.
