Maverick is a 200lb teddy bear. He is very playful and loves people. He was never trained for guarding property or animals, but it is in his instincts. He is a Kangal shepherd, Cane Corso, and Great Pyrenees mix, so he has a lot going for him. He doesn’t have much experience with animals but he has grown up around children and is very friendly and protective. He just turned 3 this February, so he still has a lot of learning to do. He needs a family that has experience and is willing to put this big guy to work and train him. He has mostly grown up, being tied to a tree, because he likes to explore. But he need someone who will take him in and teach him his boundaries so he doesn’t have to be tied. He is not aggressive and is still very playful and puppyish not knowing his own strength. Please, Maverick is a big lovable, sweet guy who was dealt a bad hand, but with training, a job and the right family, he will be the best dog you have ever had!
