My name is Holly and I am a1 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I look and act like one too. I love all ppl but despite being around dogs my whole life, lately I only sometimes like other dogs…thats why i dont go to daycare these days. The experts there says im still learning how to interact with other dogs and with a lot of love and supervised play time I can probably return. When given the choice, my favorite activity is fetch with the squeaky ball! I love to run far and fast to chase it. This is one of my specialties because I am a sporting dog. When we play fetch, please do not let another dog take my ball. If i think they are going to take my toys I might snap at them. I got away with it before, but that was a lab, next time I may not be lucky. While we are talking about behavioral topics, I want you to know I am potty trained. I can hold my pee fairly long, usually a whole 8 hours if i have to. If i am somewhere new for the first time, I may decide to mark my territory. I am a terrier after-all. Fortunately I usually only do this when i am new somewhere. Ive been to dog training and I would benefit from more of it. We usually work on the leash training and walking habits. My person loves me but he lives alone. He says Im the sweetest and most fun dog ever, but he cannot keep up with my needs. He sees me and I am bored and sad. I do not tear up any upholstered items, but please give me something great to chew anyways. I need a full time person, hopefully a family where there is always someone to play with! I am vaxed and spayed PS: Cats scare me.
