Riley is a8 month old mahogany colored irish setter. He is not neutered as the vet recommended to wait for him to be 1 year old. He is current on all medical vaccines and treatments. He is registered as well. Riley is an extremely friendly dog to every living thing. He expecially loves other dogs and currently lives with a cat. He is crate, kennel, and gps collar trained. Riley would thrive best in a family environment where he would get lots of attention. He needs space to be able to run as well. His favorite activities are going for unleased walks in the woods, playing in water and most of all, pacing a vehicle, motorcycle, atv while traveling on forestry roads or 4x4 trails. Riley is also a very good car rider. I bring him with me to work every day. I travel many miles throughout the day and he is quite all the time. He expecially loves riding in my 4runner where I can put the liftgate window down and he can stick his head out and enjoy the wind. Riley has also learned to go out with me on my kayak. He does well but still needs work with remaining seated. The need to find Riley a new home is urgent. My situation has changed and Riley now has to spend most of the day in his kennel which is not good for any dog nevermind a dog as active as a setter. I purchased Riley from an amish farmer in Lancaster, PA for $2000 in March. I have a Spoton collar that retails for $1,200 that comes with a one year subscription for the optional tracking. I also had a very large custom built wooden crate built for Riley that could go with him as well.
