Hello pet lovers. I am moving cross country with three dogs, a kitten, and a forest tortoise. We have our pet hedgehog as well. We got her about two months ago. This was before I got this job offer and it’s one I can’t turn down. I am worried about transporting the hedgehog and don’t have the means to do a private shipping. We were told at this age, it’s hard to tell the gender. But we were told they are pretty sure it’s a girl. So we went with that. We named her Mabel. She is super friendly and is great being handled. She warms right up to children and absolutely loves her worms as a treat. I hate to say good bye, but it’s in the best interest of the hedgehog. I would just let it go for adoption instead of selling her, but knowing that someone is willing to invest in this little critters life, shows me they are willing to give her a good home. I believe that someone who invests in something takes better care of and appreciates more. Thank you for letting me explain the situation and I hope this ad finds her the right home!
