First of all hes a mommas boy through and through. He is our ALPHA and he acts like an alpha. He can not be around ANY other MALES at all. He will fight them for dominance. He can however be around ANY female. He gets a long with all females and puppies. He doesn’t give kisses. He hugs and puts his lips to yours but he will never kiss us. He is our protector in every sense. He walks around the perimeter of the yard staring up at the top of the fence WAITING for some intruder to come over the fence. Hes the first to bark and alert us if there is a deer or coyote on the property. He does KILL cats so he CAN NOT be around or in a home with cats or male dogs. He loves his momma but he also loves his daddy and is his daddy's buddy. He will follow daddy around the yard and especially follows his kids (age 8 and 12) watching them and being nosy to see what they are in. Major is also a brat. If he sees you walking across the yard to your chair he will bolt for the chair, jump into it and look at you with his big goofy smile like “What ya gonna do now?” He takes toys from the other dogs, walks them away, drops them then walks back to the dog he took the toy from wagging his tail and shaking his butt trying to get them to play with him. A few females he will flip on his back like “Oh you pinned me” when they are playing but it’s a select few that he has fallen for that he'll do that. He loves our trampoline and will get up on it looking at the yard and other dogs like hes royalty and they are his servants and if they try to get up he will bite at their paws till they give up trying to get on HIS trampoline. He will jump on it and lay on it with our kids. He'll let the kids lay all over him like a pillow on the floor or couch. He is potty trained to not urinate or poop in his kennel and uses a doggy door to go out to his run or yard to potty. He walks great on a leash,. He loves to go Bye Bye on car rides and walks into stores like he owns them, walking by your side to protect you from any danger that might be lurking behind a shelf. He has callouses on his elbows and his thighs because hes 33” tall and weighs 165 lbs and he flops onto the surfaces rather then lower himself. He’s not easy on himself at all and all you will hear is a loud thumb echoing every time he lays down. Because of his age he has all of is appropriate shots and needs his booster shot in February 2019, and his 6 month booster kennel cough shot which will be due at the end of September. He will also need is Rabies shot. He is up to date on all wormings.
