Our huge, beloved Thibodeaux (pronounced tib-oh-dough) needs a new home. He just turned one year old and is a giant teddy bear. He is house trained, microchipped, AKC registered, on flea medication, and up to date on all vaccinations. He enjoys walks, playing fetch, and cuddling on the couch. My other German Shepherd (who we had first) does not get along with him. She is the aggressor. We thought that over time she would start being kind to him but every day she is trying to attack him. He deserves a more peaceful existence. He is still a big puppy and will (like all puppies) chew up things he shouldn’t, at times. If he has toys and raw hides, he will focus on those. He is very smart and trains quickly. I showed him how to heal on a walk and it only took one walk and he would respond to the command. Full disclosure: I would not trust him around small animals. He is a house dog and we have two cats that also live with us. It could be his overgrown puppy ways, but he can be too rough with them sometimes. They have never been injured by him, but just want to put that out there. He would flourish in a home with daily walks and attention. He has been raised around my children (ages 4-12) and loves to play fetch and even chase with him. We will be sad to see him go, but our home has become a war zone and poor Thibodeaux needs a place he can live in peace. We just know there is a better place for him. We ask that he remains an inside dog and is cared for with walks and appropriate attention. Rehoming fee applies. Only serious inquires only.
