Our English Shepherd dogs are the ultimate farm or homesteading dogs! Our dogs are super intelligent, eager to please, and devoted to our family. They watch over our homestead, constantly on the alert for wild animals and flying predators that could harm our free range poultry. These dogs can be trained to herd livestock as well. English Shepherds are similar to and have the same capabilities of Border Collies, but this breed has an "off switch" and tends to be a lot more laid back, making them a more ideal family dog.
