LOCATION: xxxx Hello there. We have a beautiful 4 year old female unaltered Dutch Shepherd. We are a family of 4(2 teens) with 2 cats that she tolerates. She’s utd on all shots etc. We have all records & Embark results. Unfortunately- our current situation is not allowing her the time and attention she requires. As well, as our family situation will be changing. She has great ball drive, treat trained & could be excellent with bite work/training, tug of war is her favorite. She has exceptional potential however we are proving to be unable to bring her there . She’s often bored and has more energy than we are able to handle. She is an excellent watch dog and fine with strangers with proper introduction. She is not good with small children (wants to play rough) and gets along with limited other dogs. She does jump on people at times when excited- but not always and listens well to “down” command. She has had training and is great on a leash, crate trained and know basic commands. This has not been an easy decision to come to, as we all love her very much but at this point it seems unfair to her. We want her to live her best life. I don’t want to just post her available in any group, I think it’s very important she gets what she deserves & screening to assure proper placement and we have many thousands of $ invested in her. It’s MOST important she goes into an experienced home where she can continue training & get her exercise in. There is a rehome fee. We live in xxxx side in a home with fenced yard. We are willing to transport within reason. We are able to keep her until we find a better place for her. She has been our family pet since a puppy and is somewhat spoiled with love and whole house freedoms including the couch but quickly responds to “down & out” commands. We are NOT In a huge hurry- as proper placement is MOST important.
