We've also listed below what their current family wrote about Peter. Anyone interested in this Peter will be connected with his current family for further rehoming discussion. Peter was born March 23rd, 2022. He’s a sweet loving Tibetan Mastiff Cane Corso mix who had an unfortunate accident and needs a new home. He was trained at American Dog School in Fort Collins with 30 days in-house training and follows some basic commands. He’s fully trained on leash and is very good outside in the backyard. He’s extremely protective inside, especially with deliveries and newcomers. He’s very good with other dogs and has had regular steady interactions with people outside the home. He loves long walks, and all the belly rubs he can get. He’s been neutered and has up to date shots as of March 2023. Full details of the incident: My daughter was having food delivered and my wife was in the other room. During the handoff Peter squeezed through the door and jumped on the delivery driver, knocking her down and biting her hand twice with significant scratches on the forearm. My daughter couldn’t stop him, and he squeezed out of his chain collar and ran down the street where my wife got him into the car and took him home. He was then taken to Jasper’s in Longmont to be quarantined for 10 days. We’re rehoming because my daughter no longer feels safe. It’s very unfortunate. He’s never caused harm to anyone before this happened. xxxx: xxx-xxx-xxxx xxxxx xxxxx
