Hello, I’ve decided to rehome my cat pepper. A3 year old tortoise shell short hair due to about a year ago I moved with with my aunt who has multiple cats. My cat Pepper can’t stand being around them and only stays in my room. I don’t think it’s right for her to live this way so I’ve made the very difficult decision of finding her a new home.
My two biggest criteria for new owners is you DONT have any other cats and you are willing to have an indoor out outdoor cat.
Surprisingly she’s actually fine with medium to small dogs. She’s never lived with one so I’m unaware of how that would go but she’s willing to be around one. Please be aware if you do have a dog that they are not aggressive towards cats please. (That should be obvious)
Peppers is chipped and has had she shots but she will need to get them again soon.
Now onto her personality.
Pepper is a pretty low maintenance girl. She likes to just chill on the couch but most of all her cat tree. She loves going outside. Like a lot. She will spend most of the day outside and when she gets home she’s tired and ready to curl up next to you. Once you get her purring it doesn’t stop. But I do call her punky pepper for a reason. She’s got a lot of sass. Comes with every tortoiseshell model.
Not a big fan of being held. She likes to talk a lot when you’re bugging her. When she gets cranky she’s never scratched or bit me. She’s just likes to tell you that your pissing her off.
That being said she actually really likes kids.
Ik from what I said she might not seem like a great fit with children but she actually really likes being around them. As long as your kids have good boundaries with animals I don’t see you having a problem.
My aunt has an in home daycare and I have brought her into the daycare room and she’s played with all the kids and they love her.
My neighbors kids play with her when she’s outside too.
I’m really hoping to find someone who will love her as much as I do.
