I have three White Bellied Caique males, one female & three Black Headed Caique males that are ready for their new homes. The two youngest Black Headed males will not be ready for their new homes until about the 7th of August. All of these babies are DNA tested out of Animal Genetics in Tallahassee Florida. Most of these babies were hatched out inbetween the first to second week of April. I am still supplementing baby formula but they will eat on their own. I have a closed Aviary in Galveston Texas. For those that don't know what that means, I have unrelated breeding stock that I have had for the last thirteen years. All of my original breeders were disease tested. Because of having unrelated birds ,I don't have to bring in new breeding stock so I cut out all chances of bringing a disease into my aviary. I only breed White Bellied and Black Headed Caiques. I pull my babies out of the breeding boxes at month of age. My parent birds are fed on natural food or human grade food. I'm not into feeding processed food that is packed full of synthetic vitamins and minerals. I find that the size of my babies and their coloring is much better from the get go. I do ship out of Delta Airlines at Houston Intercontinental Airport. The shipping fee is $200.00. I welcome people to come to my home to pick up their baby.
