3 males and 1 female active and beautiful Border Collie puppies from ABCA registered Dam and Sire. The parents are our personal pets and have never been trained to herd. However, they come from working stock breeders on both sides and have been introduced to cattle and show a strong desire to work. The Dam is a semi-rough coated tri-color with pointed ears around 39lbs. She is beautiful and very active and playful. She loves to fetch, play, and swim. The sire is a smooth coated tri-color with floppy ears. He is very athletic, active, and is obsessed with all types of fetch. He has the best nose I have observed in this breed. The puppies were born 6/21 and were 8 weeks old on 8/16. They have been socialized with each other, adults and neighborhood children. In my opinion, they are more social than the average border collie (as are their parents). We kept them to 7 1/2 weeks with socialization in mind. We have started the puppies swimming and are very pleased with the results to date. We are not professional breeders and this is the only litter we will have. We thought this was such an exceptional pairing we needed to let them have this one litter. A word about border collies. They are not for everyone. You should be familiar with the breed and its needs before getting one. They thrive on lots of activity, attention and 'need' a job. Located in Clinton, Ok.
