The Bernese Rottie, also known as the Bernweiler, is a large hybrid breed that was recently developed from the crossbreeding of a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Rottweiler. These dogs will be loyal, playful and affectionate family pets but will require proper socialization. These beautiful dogs will have an appearance of somewhere between that of the Rottweiler and the Bernese Mountain Dog. They will have large heads and compact but athletic bodies.
