My father unexpectedly passed away in March. He left two very sweet dogs. Little Bear (Male, Anatolian Shepherd) and Lucky (Female, Australian Cattle dog). We gauge their ages to be under 7 years old and both are altered. Family wants them but are unable to house them. They are outdoor dogs and used to a very large fenced backyard (over an acre). They both do well with his cat - mainly by staying away from him to not get attacked, but I think the cat had to train them. We are not sure how they would do with other cats, dogs and/or farm animals, as they have not been socialized with other animals and have lived only with each other since my dad has had them. They are still on his property and we tend to them daily. The property will go for sale soon, and we are hoping to find a loving home for both. It would be ideal if the two dogs can stay together, but understand that might not be possible. They are very sweet dogs and we wish we could keep them.
