Tessi is a great American Bulldog. She isn’t for the first time Bulldogger though. Tessi is a powerhouse and needs an experienced owner/handler who can understand the importance of providing for the breed. She’s very large, at approximately 75-80 lbs, she’s every bit of strength. She would make a good hog dog if the right handler came along and worked with her. Small children probably wouldn’t do good around her because her tail is like a baseball bat and although I’ve done a lot of hours in training on her, she’s still huge and powerful. She’s very wiggly, very sweet, didn’t have a lot of social skills when I got her so I’ve had her around many different dogs and tiny dogs aren’t recommended. She would also be a great candidate for protection work if someone wanted to train a dog from the bottom up. She lives in the country right now so it’s quiet out here and if she’s going into a city, her new owner/handler should have patience because it’s not certain she’ll be perfect right from the start. Once she bonds with her owner/family/handler she will protect them. Tessi is spayed, current on vaccines including rabies and her first month comes with over the phone free training advice and help in order to get her settled in smoothly. Transport is not provided. She’s ok on-leash because I’ve worked with her on that. When she first came to me she wasn’t used to having a collar put on her so it took a lot of work. Tessi was set to be euthanized the day I took her and I’d like her to go with someone who won’t throw her in the backyard and leave her and someone who will actually put some work into bettering her social skills with strangers. Feel free to ask questions. Thank you.
